Tara Hubner is a passionate and hard working marketing professional with over a decade of experience in social media, website development, email marketing, copywriting, and photography. After receiving an English degree from Southwestern University and a master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from CU-Boulder, she worked as a morning show producer. But it didn’t take her long to realize she had a passion for digital storytelling, so she began her career as a social media and digital marketing professional in 2008.
Since then, Tara has worked for many Denver-area nonprofits, including the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Pop Culture Classroom, and Mount Saint Vincent.
In 2019, she started her own marketing agency, Mother of Dragons Marketing, where she seeks to help small business owners, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits achieve their goals through creative and data-driven strategies. Her clients have included everything from fashion influencers to musicians, motion picture trailer editors to nonprofits focused on mental health equity.
When she’s not thinking about what her next Instagram story should be, Tara enjoys hiking, baking, enjoying Colorado with her husband and two boys, and coffee. Lots of coffee.
